weathering the next wheels..

 

Dear friends, today we continued with this project. We dusted off the wethering tools again; here too, we are starting from light to dark and using wet blending. Now we will let the whole thing dry until tomorrow.

 

Spent a few hours on this boy today, and when I look at the photos now, I think hmmm, maybe a bit too much of a good thing; sometimes I lose myself in too much enthusiasm...

 

Dear friends, today we were able to finish an entire side of this Miniart Stug 3G. We used various weathering techniques and products for this. First, we applied some texture with Dry Mud from Ammo, then we worked with various Earth Effects, also from Ammo, consistently working from light to dark. Further into the weathering process, we switched to pigments and finished the whole thing with oil paint. I also took some close-up photos to assess the result.
