Step by step we're making progress with this diorama. Figure painting isn't my strongest point, but I'm learning a lot...

 

35032 - der Holzfäller, Normandie 1944 A working figure of a WH (Wehrmacht) tank crewman on the Normandy front. He is wearing the HBT panzer uniform, characterized by its large upper and lower pockets. This uniform was widely utilized by Wehrmacht armored units starting in 1942, including Panzer, SPG, StuG and SPW... He is holding an axe in his right hand and carrying freshly cut branches for tank camouflage on his left shoulder. Alternatively, his hands and shoulders can be fitted with other accessories such as tools, weapons, or shells.

 

Finally able to start on the second figure, still a long way to go...😉
